Search Engine Optimized Blog Content Copy, Headers

Having a blog as part of your website is a great way to create a two way communication outlet for your business as well as being an excellent tool for gaining valuable links to your website.
1) Your blog needs to quickly be able to be posted on all the social bookmaking sites like Technorati, Digg, and Stumble Upon.
2) Your blog should anchor your Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter campaigns and have the links to each from your blog.
3)Your blog should always use keywords in title, tags, and headers.
4)Your blog should always use headers…
I am going to stop at this point to address this issue;
“The importance of using proper headers for your blog content”.
Your header is an important data metric that the search engine robots parse to learn what your site is about. Your header holds weight and should contain the keywords you are trying to rank for. For this reason alone you should be using optimized headers; but there is an aesthetic and social reason as well.
Do people actually read blogs?
Most readers while viewing content copy on a blog will quickly scan the paragraphs and the headers to analyze if the paragraphs contain the information they are looking for. Your headers should quickly state what the paragraph is about using keywords, or, while using keywords, attract the reader to read what you have to write.
Your headers break up the page into smaller less intimidating copy
When a reader sees a content on a page that looks like an essay without line breaks they realize that they are going to have to put in some time and work to gather the data from that page, forget that! Break up that large square of data on your page; when a reader views a page that has that data nicely broken up with good titles to each paragraphs (HEADERS) then the reader is much more likely to stay on your page as well as gather in the data you present.
